Message from MaMa Akosua Ali-Sabree, the President, and CEO

It is an honor to be part of a dedicated group of people who strive to uplift our community.

It has been a labor of love to work and develop the Kuumba Family Institute. We have provided community service for over three decades and are excited to expand our horizons and be of greater assistance to the youth and families and Aboriginal Indigenous and Africans in the Diaspora businesses. Often organizations talk about what they plan to do, the KFII has demonstrated what can be done with commitment and hard work.

The community has been supportive and we are encouraged that we will reach more people who could benefit from our experience, caring, and the programs we have to offer as well as programs that are being developed. As we grow we will be able to service a wide range of needs and continue to live up to the organization's motto:    "Creating Empowerment Opportunites."
